Add heading (3).png

Friday vibes! Who’s got plans for the weekend? All I am planning on is getting a chicken fried steak dinner at the bar tonight, and a Diet Dr. Pepper. I have been craving Diet Dr Pepper so bad this week.

Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette

Anyway, I just posted a review of the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette on Wednesday and I am in love with the shadow called Honey Buns so much I wanted to do a look centered around it. I also wanted to keep it wearable. a little grungy and a tad springy. Well, it looks like I used pollen as an eyeshadow so yay springtime!

Speaking of pollen, I was trying to do a super dramatic look for this tutorial but allergies had my eyes all kinds of runny so I had to scale it back.

If you want to see how I got this Spring time look, just keep reading below.

I started out with brows done and eyes primed. I went for a more natural brow today. I don’t know how I feel about it. I think I like my extra brows more. LOL.

On a fluffy brush, I took the shade Bee Sweet, A warm matte pale pink which is close to my skin tone. I used this shade as a base and applied it from lid to brow bone so everything will blend smoothly.

Now for my new favorite eyeshadow, Honey Buns. It’s a matte honey yellow shade. photo 20170316_114328_zps88clkrau.jpgWith a flat brush, I packed this shadow all over my lid.

Then on a blending brush, I took Feelin Nutty ( Medium brown with a yellow undertone and a matte finish.) into the crease and blended it onto Honey Buns. I went back and forth between the shadows until I had a good blend.

Next, I added a little bit of Peanut Butter in the transition area for some warmth and blending it up toward the inner part of the brow. Then I added Going Nuts  (A blackened bronze shade with a shimmery bronze reflect).into the outer portion of the eye to add some depth. Then added a some of Queen Bee (A cool parchment off white shade with a satin finish) to the inner corner and brow bone to as some highlight and shine.

For some reason, I was feeling a wing with this look. I used e.l.f. Cream Liner in black on an angled liner brush and cleaned up the edges with a q-tip and my face primer.

On the lower lashline, I blended Feelin Nutty all the way across and blended it out softly with Honey Buns.  I touched up the inner corner with Queen Bee to really brighten and open the eye.

I finished off with a few coats of Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara.

Now for the lips, I thought this Nyx Liquid Suede in Vintage would compliment the colors in the eyeshadow really well.

On the rest of the face, I used e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation, Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, and e.l.f HD Powder for the skin. I contoured a little bit with the Tarte Tarteist Contour Palette  ( review here) and for my blush. bronzer, highlight I used the e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Face Palette. (review is coming up soon)  I added some of Queen Bee to the tops of my cheekbones for an extra glow. I wanted to keep the skin kinda low key on this look.

The Finished look
