Tis the Season to SLAY! And that is what we are doing today. I recently picked up the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette and have been dying to use it in a look. I will be doing a full review of the palette soon.
For this look, I wanted to go green, sparkly and dramatic AF. This is the kind of look I would rock for a night out this time of year. So if you want to see how I got this look just keep reading below!
The star of today’s look is the ABH Subculture.
And the olive green shade called Immaculate from the KVD Saints and Sinners Palette.
I’m starting out by using the shade Amen from the Saints & Sinners Palette because there is no base shade in the Subculture Palette.
I packed Amen all over the lid after priming to give a smooth canvas for all the other eyeshadows. This also makes blending much easier.
Next, on a fluffy brush, I took the shade called Dawn from the ABH Subculture.
I blended Dawn throughout the crease and transition area going toward the inner portion of the brow and dragging it out toward the tail of the brow.
Next up to really bring some warmth to the look, I took the shade New Wave.
I applied New Wave to the crease area and blended it into Dawn. I really blended out the transition area so it was a haze of orangey warmth all around the lid.
Now for some green! With a smaller blending brush, I took the shade called Destiny from the Subculture Palette.
I applied Destiny more concentrated into the crease and blended it out softly. I went back in with New Wave as needed to keep the orange vibrant in case it was blended away some.
Jumping over to the KVD Saints & Sinners I took the shade Immaculate on a flat shader brush.
Immaculate went all over the lid and blended into Destiny.
To add some depth I went in with a pencil brush with Untamed.
I softly blended Untamed into the outer portion of the lid.
Next up I took the shade Electric just in the inner corner on a pencil brush and blended it into Immaculate on the lid slightly.
I also went back in with Immaculate and patted it on the center of the lid with my fingertip and made sure all my other shadows were blended and vibrant.
To add some drama I used the shade Axis to line my upper lash line.
I brought Axis out into a wing. I really like the way this color looked as a liner with the greens.
I cleaned up any fallout, finished up my complexion and moved on to the lower lash line. First I applied New Wave along the lower lash line.
Then I blended Destiny a little closer to the lash line with a pencil brush and applied Axis right at the lash line to connect it to the wing.
For some sparkle and shine, I took this iridescent pressed glitter from Wet N Wild.
I patted the glitter into the inner corner of the eye with a detail brush.
Then I patted Electric over the top so the inner corner is super shimmery with a pop of glitter peeking through.
I tight lined my upper waterline with Nyx Faux Black in Black Olive then finished the eye off with a few coats of mascara.
The Finished Eye
For the lips, I used Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Ricco because dramatic. LOL.
