What guys, Sorry I missed Monday’s post. What had happened was… I redownloaded Sims 4 and bam it’s Wednesday. So to make up for my missed post. I am posting two today! That damn game sucks me if like a black hole every time. I literally spend hours just downloading mods. Anyways, for this post, I wanted to do a Lust or Bust on Kat Von D’s 10th Anniversary Collection. Spoiler: it’s all lust. I want every damn bit of this collection BUT I have put myself on a low buy this year in an effort to save some coin so currently, I am not buying any of the collection unless I win the lottery. LOL.
So, I was really inspired by a couple of images I came across on Pinterest last week. I loved the colors and thought they would make a really cool eyeshadow look used together. I was going for something pretty/ugly, dystopian and futuristic.
And again I was feeling a Gunship song. I was really trying to capture the aura of the pictures in an eyeshadow look.
For this look I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette paired with Nyx Duo-Chromatic Illuminating Powder in Lavender Steel. On lips, I went with a full-on greige. If you want to see how I got this look, just keep reading below.
Happy Friday! Is it bad I am super excited because today is my cheat day. I have already had a donut, boudin kolache and a mocha latte this morning and I am working on a Dr. Pepper. Tonight, we are going to get dinner at Ghengis which is kind of like bibimbap that you pick out everything yourself and they cook it. I have been craving it for weeks but it’s a rice-based dish so I have been saving it for a cheat day. I might get a sushi roll too!
Anyway, today I have another retro-futurism/vaporwave inspired look. This one is called Pink Mist after a Gunship song again too. I saw the image in the background on Pinterest and I was so inspired by the colors and the geometric shapes and wanted to so a look based on it. For this look, I used shades from the Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Palette, Warm Obsessions, and Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture.
I wanted to get a little out of the ordinary with this one and bring in some more avant-garde and goth elements with a colorful neon glow. I am really having fun stepping out of the box with color and just going by what feels good and not sticking to a formula.
Hi guys, today I have a review of the Kat Von D 24 – Hour Super Brow Long Wear Pomade and the Pomade Brow Brush #70. It’s been a while since I have used a pomade so I was really excited to give this one a go. Brows are serious business to me and I am always on the hunt for new great products. Not only do I have just a review but I have a demo on how I use this product as well.
So if you want to hear my thoughts and see how the Kat Von D Super Brow Pomade performs, just keep reading below.
