What guys, Sorry I missed Monday’s post. What had happened was… I redownloaded Sims 4 and bam it’s Wednesday. So to make up for my missed post. I am posting two today! That damn game sucks me if like a black hole every time. I literally spend hours just downloading mods. Anyways, for this post, I wanted to do a Lust or Bust on Kat Von D’s 10th Anniversary Collection. Spoiler: it’s all lust. I want every damn bit of this collection BUT I have put myself on a low buy this year in an effort to save some coin so currently, I am not buying any of the collection unless I win the lottery. LOL.
Hi guys, today I have a review of the Kat Von D 24 – Hour Super Brow Long Wear Pomade and the Pomade Brow Brush #70. It’s been a while since I have used a pomade so I was really excited to give this one a go. Brows are serious business to me and I am always on the hunt for new great products. Not only do I have just a review but I have a demo on how I use this product as well.
So if you want to hear my thoughts and see how the Kat Von D Super Brow Pomade performs, just keep reading below.
Another oddly timed post. Killing it in 2018 with keeping to a schedule eh? Like I said in my last couple of posts, I have been sick and am awaiting some dental work which means I have been in on and off pain, and my sleep schedule is all kinds of messed up. It’s 1 am and I am up for the day. Anyway, I am back to the grind today and am determined to get back on track.
In today’s post, I have a makeup tutorial for this look I called Dust. As per usual it was inspired by a song. This time it was a song from Fields of the Nephilim called Dust of the album Dawnrazor. I wanted to do a look using the shade Chalice from the Kat Von D Saints & Sinners Palette because it is a very unique shimmery brown with antiqued bronze tones that can pull either warm or cool depending on the shades used with it. This is a relatively simple look compared to most of what I have been doing lately but I really liked how it came out.
So if you want to see how I got this look, just keep reading below.
Happy Monday! Not so happy for me because it means a dentist visit and adulting. I mentioned in my last post what a week last week was. This one hasn’t started out much better between tooth pains and medicine issues, but that is neither here nor there. Today, I have what a post that was supposed to have gone up Friday but I have still been under the weather if not physically than mentally. However, I am up stupid early today and am determined to get this week off to a productive and generally a good start. Perhaps I am up too early because I am already feeling the bed calling my name once again but I have to be up early anyway so not much point going back to sleep.
Anyway, this look is inspired by the bitter cold and gray weather we have had lately in color. It features a smoky gray, cool-toned purples, taupe and silvery metallics paired with a dramatic wine wing and a glossy greige lip. Who is she wearing gloss? IKR? I found a couple formulas I have been enjoying and I think gloss is having a revival.
The name and other inspiration for this look is from a Moonspell song called Capricorn At Her Feet which I felt suiting as I am a Capricorn and just celebrated my 31st year.
