Happy Friday Beauties. I have another Valentine’s Tutorial today using the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette. With this look, I wanted to dive into the more purple shades in the palette cause they are so stunning and I am a sucker for purple eyeshadow. I think this look ended up being perfect for Valentine’s Day, it’s soft, sultry and romantic.
Song inspiration for this one comes from David Bowie via the Labyrinth soundtrack. As the World Falls Down is one of my favorite lovey songs.
I still remember perfectly, when my husband and I first started dating, one night he was singing this song to me outside his apartment at 5am, The neighbors were very confused.
Happy Monday, This is my second time typing this. Yay Monday and thanks for not saving my progress WordPress and glitching out. Appreciate it!
Anyway, Today I have a makeup tutorial featuring a rose gold and red halo eye paired with a deep oxblood wing and a glossy lip. This look was inspired by the Lacuna Coil song called Spellbound. This shades screamed Valentine’s day to me so I wanted to get this post up in time.

Hey guys, It’s almost Valentine’s Day so I wanted to do a soft romantic makeup look for yall with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette because it’s the perfect palette for a V-day look.
My inspiration was this picture below I found a few month ago on Devant Art, I loved how it was washed out and looked like it was a screen shot of an old VHS. It’s romantic vaporwave. The title I choose is a Moonspell song.
The look I created is a soft smoky romantic eye paired with a deeper bold lip from Laura Mercier that ties to the shades I used on my eyes. I wanted them to keep it wearable, and daytime-friendly, to me anyway. I have no qualms about wearing something bold day or night. Typically, my husband and I go to lunch for Valentine’s Day and spend the rest of the day out and about so I wanted a look that could transition from day to night with no fuss. You could pair a softer lip for the day and vamp it up at night.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner now, so I wanted to do an inspired look. Most the tutorials I see are very sweet and nice. I decided to go the more sexy, vixen like route this year for starters. Something dramatic and sultry. I also wanted to showcase the Eyeshadow Glow by Montecito in Columbia by doing a halo smoky eye so the eye shadow can really stand out. You could rock this look for a hot date or an anti valentine’s day girls night out.
I will be posting a daytime look as well in the coming week too.
